Plagiarism
Many people think of plagiarism as copying another's work, or borrowing someone else's original ideas. But terms like "copying" and "borrowing" can disguise the seriousness of the offense.

  At College, Lecturers use a software called Turnitin to check for plagiarism. It will check against billions of sources worldwide, including previously submitted students' work.
  
  As a student, you can submit your assignment to Turnitin before handing it in, to check it. yourself if you have any doubts.
